how to delete a post

i see lots dont know how, just 'oh sorry double post'

what to do
after you double post or acidentally start new thread when meant to reply click on EDIT for the post you DONT want.
at top it says "delete?"
you check the box at left then click "Delete Now"

post deleted

or even notify the mods with that annoying little "Report this post to a Moderator" link. Although, if you could do it yourself, that would be great.
