Thanks guys! I'll post updated pics soon.

The kit fit fairly well right fromt the box, there was only minor filing that I had to do.
I just recently finished lining up the kit to the body lines and will post pictures of the fitment soon.

So you have any detailed pics of what needed to be trimmed to install the rear coils?

Depending on the coilover, the damper adjustment knob may hit the rear seat bracing that goes across the strut tower. I just set mine to the desired stiffness and removed the knob, I could have cut a 1" notch out of it but it's a funny angle to get a drill or cut off wheel in there.

Everything was going great until one day my KA decided to take a shit on me. I pushed the car to my girlfriends garage where it sat for a few days as I tried to figure out what the problem was. The motor wasnt getting spark or fuel. It was probably just a minor problem but I ran into a great deal on an sr20 coupe and I couldn't pass it up...

So I picked up this sweet two tone 89' coupe with an sr20 redtop. The motor was stock as fuck. Still had the side mount intercooler.

So my friend towed me back home with his miata.. haha

Good to be back

Started removing things from the bay. Hoping to pull the motor and get in on an engine stand by next week.

Then I will put the dual cam into the coupe that I just picked up

Stay tuned!

How much did you end up picking up that two tone coupe for? I saw it up on facebook for 2,500 or so, looks like a great comeup. If you need any SR parts let me know, I was the one who bought those stock suspension bits from you in the dead of winter.

Pulled two motors and put one in all in a day's work!

Hoping to get the donor car running soon so I can get it out of my garage! Don't have enough space for two projects.

Can't wait man! By the way, what kit do you have? Bumpers and side skirts. Looking for options on my vert, but I'm staying with the pop-up headlights.

So we soon discovered why my old motor stopped running.. lol

Bathed the engine bay

Dropped in that Walbro fuel pump!

Took the intake mani off of the sr, looks pretty fresh in there. Also noticed that it has a metal head gasket.

Also took the turbo mani off to clean it up and replace some gaskets.

Grinded off the battery tray. Going to be relocating the battery for a simpler look.

Cleaned the fuck out of the motor

Started assembling the intake and exhaust mani with new gaskets

Then Wiregod Adrian and I decided to take apart the engine bay harness and remove every unnecessary wire one by one. We removed everything related to heat, ac, cruise, traction, abs and auto trans. We ended up removing a couple pounds of wiring and we deleted a whole relay box.

Since the motor was out I thought it would be a good idea to give the engine bay a new look. Started prepping it at home

Then it was time to take it to the shop to get a new coat of paint. Tried to paint it myself at home but came out terrible due to dust and moisture in my compressor.

Meanwhile did a new throwout bearing on the trans

Picked up the car from the shop! Fresh new engine bay.

We decided to replace the body harness since it gave us a lot of issues. It was molested and beyond repair so the best bet was to get an unmodified harness from another vert, and thats exactly what we got.

Started stripping the interior again

Took my valve cover to get powder coated and picked up a set of lightweight pulleys. Looks great along with the rest of my cleaned up parts.

Now we were able to drop the motor back in

Starting to finish up this swap. Focusing on the front mount.

Picked up a couple new parts

Thats all I have for now. I'll be updating the thread when I get some more work done.
