Parking Light/Cluster scroller broken, PLEASE help!

The left hand scroll that turns on your parking lights and cluster just broke on me when i tried to turn it on and now they are stuck on. So my car has no choice to die unless i disconnect the battery after driving. I suppose i could remove the fuse(if that is a choice) after driving as well but id rather not have to do that every time. Its JUST the cluster and parking lights that are stuck on, when the key is out of the ignition. Anyone have any idea on how to completely fix this issue? I have tried to do some research and find a way to solve the issue but it seems no one has had this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is really really irritating me. I am able to remove the scroll from the steering unit, completely pull out and at the end there is a half circle shape that seems like it should grab whatever is in the end of the scroll but its not catching on anything, just keeps spinning and spinning. Any kind of insight will help, i've just ran out of patience. Hopefully i am just stupid and its an easy fix. Thank you in advance!

It is an easy fix. Replace your headlight stalk. (Hopefully that's what you're talking about)

It's not something to fix yourself obviously you're having troubles trying to do so now.

This piece?

Yes that piece, I figured id have to resort to replacing it but was curious of other options but replacing it is probably the best choice anyway. Thank you for the reply.
