My friend Mike Bonanni (Double Down 350Z) says that he much loves his new 370Z. This is from the redline time attack season opener at buttonwillow, where his fastest time was a 2:06.7xx . Not too shabby for a stock na car in the over 3,000lb category.

It's been over a year since the last post in this thread and since then there has been quite the aftermarket development.
I've been doing a little research, and I must say I really like this car. It's definitely going to be my next car. Even though this is a fairly new car, it comes across as fairly straight forward to mod (similar to the 240 in a way). The same can be said about the 350Z, but I'm a fan of the styling on the 370Z more...just my personal preference. The TT setups are awesome, but I think I will settle with a SC. Been following the progress of the GTM SC kit and I must say it's very nice and with the black coating, it's gives a "sleeper" look. More info: Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - GTM Performance Engineering 370Z SUPERCHARGER KIT PRESS RELEASE Pic of black coating (I'm aware the car is a 350Z): I also like the look of the "fangs" painted matte/satin black. Here's a pic to give an idea of what I mean (I also like the lip on this car too)....

Seen your car in person at the golds gym off 215 and losee a few months back. Other than the functional wing my wife gave your car the "awe how cute comment". I thought it was pretty clean for a simple car. Keep up the good work. |

Here's my Nismo 370z that I picked up not too long ago-
I'm currently running on coilovers. I have a Setrab oil cooler and some long tube headers on the way. Probably gonna run some spacers until I can find some decent wheels...I haven't been able to find new wheels in the same sizing that match the same concavity as the stock Nismo wheels. |

^^ NISMO is gorgeous!
Anybody care to comment about the oil temp issue on these cars? I forget who, maybe SCC but they ran an oil cooler as well, and still had problems with the oil temps running high--on just street driving! I wonder how that's possible when G37s have been out for a while, and they don't seem to have that problem... or do they? |

Yea, well there's really no room for air to move in the engine bay.

I prefer the 40th anniversary over the Nismo, flame away
looks better in person, I've heard only 1,000 have been made. surprisingly, we've had 3 so far at the dealership.

Flame away?
Never! That shit looks tits! I've always loved red interiors in a Z (240z, in particular). That looks bad ass. I was wondering when they were going to introduce red interiors in the 370. -Jose |
