The most common thing to go out is the blower motor resistor (this is the case when nothing happens until you turn it to "4", then it comes on full blast). If nothing happens at any setting, you most likely have a blown blower fuse. If you're positive the fuses are good, it's time to get a new blower motor (very unlikely).

I have the same problem.

nothing blows = either fuse or motor is seized.

If setting 1,2,3 dont work and only 4 works then it is the resistor.

The blower on my S13 doesn't work, but I don't drive it, so I never really investigated the problem. I know there was no power at the fuses (there are 2) and the power comes straight from the ignition, but that's as far as I got.

My s14 had a problem where the control would be on '4' (or any other setting for that matter) and the blower would only come on when it felt like, and would change speed whenever it felt like. I never figured out what it was, but I think it may actually be the HVAC control itself.

not for sure, but a damn good chance.

It could also be the control unit.

I'd check the fan for voltage first though.

Yeah, put a dmm on the power leads for the fan. If the fan isn't getting power, look into the climate control.
