Dude, I've driven around for days with 10psi in my tires a couple of times and its never budged.

I suppose if I ran 215s on a 10 and drove full bore over a pile speed bump it would pose a problem.

Edit - BTW, when my tires de-bead from my baller wheels, you can say "i told you so", but that'll have to be at least 15 mins after i set fire to, piss on, and laugh hysterically at wasting a set of wheels that cost over 4k to replace, its only money right?

I never said anything about emotional feelings. I'm talking potholes, speedbumps, and all different conditions of everyday driving that you don't have at a track. Not to mention your stuck with a blowout somewhere in traffic, maybe on a bridge or something, not out in a controled environment.

For the record, I never gave anyone negative rep, I got a ton from nutswingers, but it seems that I'm not the onlyone that feels this way if you recieved some negative rep, search for someone else that gave it to you.

If your tires come off that's your issue. I won't be harrassing you every post and telling you I told you so. I'm just not like that, I was trying to give my take on the issue, and as I said, I have a bunch of experience with this issue and deal with it on an almost weekly basis.

As long as the tire is mounted correctly and the bead is set firmly max tire pressure or +5 lb more than max pressure should be enough.

Syncmaster: 225/50 is going to be okay. Some people have stretched smaller tires on a 10 though. If you read the specs on a number of professional drifters you will notice they typically run the same width tire as the rim. IE: 245/xx/xx on a 10 inch wide rim) At the end of it all tire pressures and wheel/tire combinations are going to be up to your individual preferences.

Max tire pressure or a little bit more is going to be fine for most combinations.

ive had my tire de-bead once.. no big deal. took the wheel off after i went through several more turns on an autox, took it to a gas station, had them remount the tire. fronts were at 34psi. 17x8.5 with aggressive stretch.. the only reason i lost the bead was because there was a big ass gauge in the pavement of one of the turns, and i hit it perfectly parallel.. tire drops 3 inches, hits the tarmac, POP.. 15 minutes later i was driving again.. just bad luck, but shit happens. what dousan said.. you shouldnt have any problems with 30ish psi.
