It will be going in the car in January. I just need to wait til my school money comes in on Jan 3rd so I can round up the last few items.

time and effort pays off. but what pre-instal. maint. did you do to the engine when you say "BUILD UP" currious.

I don't know if this was directed at me, but here goes....

block hot tanked
plateau honed
crank ground then micropolished with new bearings
new front cover/oil pump
head cleaned and resurfaced
new valve stem seals
hand-lapped valves
t-belt idler
t-belt tensioner
crank sprocket
CP Forged Pistons (stock bore, stock compression ratio)
Cometic metal headgasket
ARP headstuds
Every single gasket has been/will be replaced

That's it really. If I find a good deal on some 272 cams I might throw those in before the motor gets dropped.
