Even if you were to donate enough today, they wont give you a license plate anymore. They noticed that people with these were getting off (exactly why we want them) to much so no more they said.

its a donation program to the CHP for their families if they lose their lives in the line of duty. In the past, donators would get a license plate frame, a personalized badge, and some ID holder. Whenever a cop would pull them over, the cop would see the license plate holder and when u give them the badge and license, theyre usually more lenient and give u a warning since ure a primary donator.
I kno they dont give out license plate holders anymore but do they still give out the badge and ID cards? |

The 11-99 foundation, which is independent of the CHP, is very upset with the online sales. The foundation has suspended issuing any new plate holders, and plans to stop the program all together at the end of the year. |

Blah, I thought they were actual plates. That's just a frame. You could have those made for a lot less than whatever the donation fee would be. I wouldn't mind having the wallet with the badge though.

I believe the minimum donation was somewhere around $5,000.
