I went to the track this past weekend and suprisingly ran a 14.837 at 95.29mph! I wasn't really expecting it to run that time due to most 240's are in the low 15s. The first run i hit a 15.78 at 90mph (spun 1st, 2nd, missed 3rd)

*Also i never redline my car unless its 1st or 2nd gear. After that i shift at 5800-6000rpm...KAs become useless at redline. i found out when i raced my cousins RSX 3 times. He would pull on me past 6k rpm unless i shifted.

91 240sx Hatch (base model)
Motor:
KA24DE - 82,XXX miles
Mods:
- Ebay Intake
- DC Header
- 3in Ebay Exhaust/Test Pipe
- Welded Diff
- MSD Coil
- 248/248 exhaust cam swap
- ACT 3 Clutch
- Hockey Puck Motor Mounts (Their solid and had them on for 2 months )

Suspension:
- KYB Shocks
- Tein Lowering Springs

Weight Reduction:
- Spare Tire
- Passenger Seat
- Rear Seats

The Bad:
- 180sx rims,15x6, w/BALD TIRES (I dont get the opportunity to go to the track much because of work so i said bump it)

I plan to go back to the track soon with some good tires and see what i can put down. other than that im just happy with my 240 because of the doubt that everyone (local ppl/friends) has in my car without a turbo

not to burst your bubble homie but alot of 240sx actually run those times! matter fact my cousin ran his sohc 14.5 with your average bolt-ons the diffrence thou he had some drag radials and he ran a 13.1 with squeezing some juice

ballsy ks's ftw!! i ran 9.9 in my bone stock ka with a slipping clutch stock exhaust and stock intake ect. ect. (obviously 1/8 mile)

its cool, its just rarely that i see KAs in the 14s. was that sohc grey with i believe black rims by chance?

damn with a 2.3 60 ft? if you bring that down to a 1.8-2.0, you can easily hit a LOW 14. Good Time and good luck!

high mileage? are you retarded? that's baby mileage for that year and engine!

mine has 135K n the engine and my friend's 90 sohc has 197K on it.

wow thats a crazy time are you running stock rear suspension ? if not find a set of stock rear shocks an springs an get some slicks an be in the low 14 sec zone . i would like too see what that motor would do on spray too .

my best run was a 15.5 with an injen intake advanced timing apexi n1 an 16x8 z rear tires with some home made slicks lol aka balled tires . an that was on a motor with 200k it never ran as good after that run but i was hitting 15.6 an 15.7 all night an even a buddy of mine got a 15 .9 out of her .
