Great stuff in here fellas, I've been wanting to get back into a 240 and see what I can do with one. At Buttonwillow I've done a 2:01 with my old Civic and a 2:12 with my old Miata. Just wondering if I should settle for a 13 chassis or wait it out for a 14. I've had both but never tracked ether.

Any thoughts on chassis differences? weight? I think some one on here long ago said that the 14 has more front end grip or something like that. Don't really remember. Regardless. Hope to have some FR fun soon again!

Here is my YouTube link.

s14 looks great! Are you running adjustable arms? If so what are your alignment specs.

would anyone know if running a

235/45/17 front 255/40/17 rear on 9" affect anything on a s13?

i usually run 40's

unless i run 245/40/17 squared or 245 front and 255 rear.
planning to get some RS3's to replace my worn down RS-R's

EDIT: i do not want to run 255 all around, 255 in front requires a 5mm spacers in front,
and dislike the turning feel in front. Note that i daily drive this car and casually go to track with it.

wheels 17x9+22 RPF1

You can run a 255 all around. I am currently running a square setup 255/40/17 on 17x9 +22.

I remember reading on nissanroadracing.com that this would be an Ideal wheel tire combo but have yet to take it to the track so can't really give you any input.

The 235/45's should work fine. They're almost an inch taller than the 235/40's, but only .3" taller than the 255/40/17's. The 235/40/17's are actually a little shorter than the stock 205/60/15's. Running a little taller tire in the front will lengthen the contact patch a little and might give the car a little more balanced feel. The only thing you might lose is a bit of steering feel from the taller sidewalls.

For tire and wheel fitment questions I personally consult the 1010tires website. They've got an excellent tire size calculator and wheel fitment calculator.

thank you, i checked the site out and couldnt find the calculator, but i use the website willtheyfit. So i might just end up with 245/40 all around now thinking about it some more...
But thanks for the insight. Appreciated.

This seems to be the best thread to post this in; anyone ever hear of or have insight on TC Kline Double adjustable Koni's (350z)? They are kind of a niche product and apparently rare. I know they were specifically used in the SCCA T2 series but trying to find anyone who has actually used them or ridden with a car equipped with them.

I will dig some up and send them over.

The rear is Origin stylish rear bumper that has been cut and we added a Top Secret diffuser.

Welcome to RWD! I'm still relatively new to the track scene so I don't have much to add. I do think a 1.5 will make your car a lot more predictable and remember to be smooth with inputs.

I do have one question though. How many bricks did you shit when you were tank slappin' behind that Scuderia?

Haha actually I was more worries about his car then mine.. Worst come to worst I would get a jdm front and bragging rights to hitting a Ferrari lol but I've been racing for about two years. Just never in a rwd. also I have a viscous at home but I just wanted to see what I can do in a bone stock.
