Has anyone actually done this and do you have pics. I am really curious to see what they look like. I know the body style is the pretty much from the side but I would still like to see how they look.

Yeah dude...that's the factory front lip that came on the SE's...The cool thing is, that the '97-'98 side skirts bring the sides of the car down to the same level as the front lip...makes it look more even all around...I think after I get my skirts on there I'm going to paint the rear mudflaps to match body color, so they look kind of like a body kit piece...and then the lower body line will be even all around the car...If you didn't notice, you can't use the front mudflaps with the skirts on...Unless you cut them to fit, but I think it would look goofy.

Thanks for the pic. I've been thinking about that since I bought my car. I heard it all lines up perfectly, I was just wondering if it would be too angular for the friendlier round eye 240. After seeing that - I guess not!

You just have to look around. Check scrap yards for wrecked Kouki's. I got mine from Rich Bjornson of www.fatman-racing.com after he got his Nismo body kit. Check out his ride at http://www.fatman-racing.com/240sx/RPB/gallery.htm
You can also keep an eye on www.240sx.org classifieds, as well as checking www.car-part.com, and www.co-partfinder.com You definitely don't want to buy them new from Nissan, unless you feel like paying over 200 bucks a piece for them! Good luck! -Chris (Who has the skirts, but is too broke to paint them!) (Edited by nismo270r at 119 am on Nov. 17, 2001) |
