assuming you wont mod this car much (if at all) id say you've got two choices........
if you want FWD: altima SE-R (sportier 265hp 6spd v6) if you want RWD: is300 (pimper<yes thats a word> smooth riding luxo car) |

hmm...im stuck between the 330i and IS300.
I've driven a 6 speed IS300 and boy that thing felt nice. Not too slow, not too fast, just right for daily driving. The car rides like a dream but BMW's handle better IMHO. I never drove a 330i, but i drove a 328i 5 speed (assuming theyre pretty similar), i was impressed with the 328... but they're eveywhere. errr both those cars make me kinda nervous.. maintenance charges are gonna kill u. $2k for a new flywheel for the IS300 :-\. eh i dunno where im going with this.. im tired.. good night |

I would go with the IS300. My other car is a Lexus and that thing is built like a tank. Its just a given in the lexus community. A+ reliability. I was driving the lexus for three years before I got my 240 and I never had to buy or fix anything except the wear and tear items (brake pads, oil filters, etc....). Lexus/Toyota reliabilty just can't be beat. I drove my friend's A4 1.8T and did not like it all too much, the steering feels disconnected, engine check light and airbag lights going off all the time, and brakes were too mushy. The I6 would be much better for daily driving. Go with the IS300 and you won't be dissappointed. Ultimately IMO, the choice is if you want to fix your car up to run or fix your car for fun.

I would NOT finance the Lexus like that man...$550/mo for the next 5 years is gonna hurt sooner or later. If you don't have the cash to put like half or more down on the focker, wait until you do or buy something cheaper. Debt sucks. |

Honestly, I think you can get a new Suby STI for probably the same or less (which is good considering you'll have a boosted AWD 4-door).Get it in black... you'll fall in love. I was looking on ebay, and some *dealers* were listing brand new STIs for 28K (under 100 miles). Unless, your looking for elegance rather than performance.

Drftwerks posted the exact 2 cars im considering now. IS300 and a4 and all those small sporty sedans look like a damn boy racer crackerjack prizes. The big bodied cars, a8, 7series bmw, Q45, M45, LS400, GS430 all looks so much more classy. If you already have a 240 why do you want another flashy cheap looking car, especially one that comes with altezzas
