in the process of removing flywheel pins one snapped in half just a little more then flush with the flywheel. i've tried drilling into the pin but its still not budging. i don't like the idea of leaving a half broken half drilled pin in my flywheel, my only solution at this point would be to completly drill it out with a bit the same size or a little bigger than the flywheel alignment pin hole itself. does anyone see a downside to this? any other ideas for removal?

have you tried a diamond-tipped drill bit and an easy-out? exhaust all options before you give up. i don't think one bolt missing is the end of the world, but that's just me.

grind it flush. Just an alignment pin.
