Im kinda thinking my FPR might be bad. It makes a weird rushing noise haha.

Nah, i have a friend who has a new act clutch for 40 bucks, so im getting that, lightened flywheel, and a act pressure plate.

Good build op, lots of useful information in here aside from the regular haters.
You should just put neons on and a aluminum wing. Give them something to bitch about
Subscribed for dedicated track slut, not show car

Ya going from

to

and from a 100hp ka24e to a 250hp ka-t to a 250hp v8.

Isn't a build thread at all.
Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Update!

I was getting sick of my wheels hitting my tension rods and stealing my angle!

So i made new arms

Didn't really clean up the welds.. deal with it. also moved my tension rods to the sway bar hole. Even more angle!

Well... Sold my clutch! 900 bucks! Half the price of my entire swap!

Bought a new 3sgte flywheel, had it machined for the bolts.
$150

New Pressure plate for 3sgte

I bought a ACT sr20 disk but all the pucks are loose... anyone seen that?
So my friend gave me this clutch for now, seems really mild, i hope it holds.
There is a clutch shop here that will redo a clutch, so hopefully they can redo the act for fairly cheap.

Had to add a bit to the throw out bearing.

Ready to go in... again...

Also got bored. Made a bash bar, since we can do tandem at our local events.

That new clutch was awesome!!!

But something broke... again.

Axle sheared. Luckily i had one at my house. So i rushed home and came back and replaced it!

Car felt amazing!
I do need an alignment, my front tow is pretty positive with my new LCAs'

I am classy.
We finally got tandems at our local events!

Now that the car is reliable, i can focus on the exterior.
Paint, overfenders, body kits, etc.

ya mid corner.
I think the oil sloshed to one side (my pan is dented) and caused this.

I did this (or pretty sure it was the cause) to my SR a few years ago. Spun #2 and #3 iirc. It was leaking a small bit of oil and I drove it 400 miles to the track. Took a lap to learn the course (before I refilled my oil to level) and went kinda quick and heard rod knock before the lap was done.

It sucks, I know how you feel *hug* (no homo)

Thanks man

I plan on building a new oil pan with some trap doors to prevent this happening. (even though it was my fault)

I also picked up a 94 ls400 engine this weekend for 300 bucks. Engine, harness, ecu and power steering pump. and i have about 80 bucks in cores i can return.

Needs some gaskets. So plan on some more updates, and another wire up.

Interesting build thread, at least you're doing shit with it instead of hardparking and collecting internets glories.

So when did Miller Motorsports start letting the drift kids back to play? Last I heard Biggie blew a gasket and outlawed it at his events and the park didn't want kids with no liability insurance tearing up their parking areas.

It's nice though, glad you guys have a legit venue to practice at.

Jason Smith Fixed all the problems (even though there really wasn't any, just word of mouth shits)

We have tandem, ride alongs. All the good stuff, we are working on getting on the track for next year.

And thank you. I do plan on prettying this up a bit.

BLAAAAAAAAAAAACK.
I got bored with my engine painted stuff black.

Replaced timing belt, water pump, front main seal.

Still need to replace rear main seal, oil pan gasket. I am going to make some baffles for the oil pan with some trapdoors.

kinda like that, but more square.

Wow you have a lot of people bitching about how ugly the car looks and whatever else "This isn't a build thread". Zilvia members well never appreciate someone sharing their progress. Anyways....

I am trying to pick between an rb20 or a 1uzfe for my next swap. Both are pretty cheap for the power gains. I will just have to do more research on the 1uz swap since there aren't much information on them.

But keep doing what you are doing man.
