the sti has gotten worse and worse as years go by. once they dropped out of wrc they became a complete joke to me still harping on how everything they do is based on rally when they can't even keep up with fords and citroen's. now we are going to get to see block get stomped by every wrc driver out there and show y wrc is the premier rally event in the world. ppl may not want to admit it but rally america is 2nd rate. He prolly won't even finish in the top 10 let alone get anywere near Loeb.

I used to dislike Fords. But now I have a lot of respect for them. Ford is doing the best out of the the big 3 in Detroit. They did not take bailout money and did not go into bankruptcy. Their cars are actually desirable and are selling. They where the first to start on this retro muscle car thing that is happening and have banked on it. Their interior quality is way up there now.

Have you seen the Ford Taurus SHO? Its a AWD Twin Turbo V6!? If they continue to take cues from Ford Europe and bring more of their cars here they are going to continue to be the #1 US car maker.

yeah good move on Block to go for the WRC.. International racing series over small US scene anyday.. Once you make it to an FIA racing series, your like an international superstar! Just look at F1 drivers compared to Indy. You could go anywhere and people know who you are.

You dont dream of stopping at college basketball, you want to make it to the NBA. well with auto racing, the highest level is like any of the FIA racing series lol

Yeah Ford's involvement in european racing has brought us great cars, Ford's GT40, the Shelby Cobras with Ford engines, Escorts have a long racing history in GT racing. They raced mustangs in touring car classes.
