Not as mature as people think. About 100 years ago congress was debating rounding up all african americans and shipping them back to africa because they're much smarter than they were and would bring civilization to africa because they would never hack it in america.

People, and congress, still have not grasped the basic problem of borrowing. 10 cents of every dollar uncle sam takes in goes to interest. If people are getting taxed at a 25% net rate, then it takes a lot of wasted effort, enterprise, and motion to support all of that. If we didn't have a national debt interest payment then college and healthcare could be free.

Congress can't agree on just spending what they take in, let alone spending less than they take in, and applying the excess to the deficit.

Also, your study talks mainly about central and south America having a culture and civilization before the Clovis people. Forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't we talking about North America, mainly the US?? If you dig deeper into the new findings it says that the Clovis people migrated across the Bering land bridge and spread south, and didn't come in contact with other inhabitants until deep into central America. Anthropology is a hobby of mine, I spend hours reading about all the new findings. There are studies out there that say aliens were here first. So I like to base my knowledge on more than one study finding similar conclusive data, rather than going off of one study, standing alone.

That can easily be interpreted that you were implying that the Clovis people were the first. If not, then I digress. As for your comment not being an opinion, a lot of science is opinion. For every "study" that proves one things you have another that disproves. There is no conclusive evidence as to who the original "group" of people to inhabit North America were. I'll leave you be with your hobby and let the topic get back on track.
