Phase2Motortrend High-Angle Tension Rods
Product: P2M Curved High-Angle tension rods
Rating: 5/5 Product: http://www.phase2motortrend.com/prod...tnrns13-hc.htm I recently decided that it was time to fix my clearance issue up front. I spoke with Wayne at P2M and he was very helpful the entire ordering process. These are P2M's second generation tension rods. IMPRESSIONS: I received the tension rods in a nicely branded and padded box. I was anxious to compare these to my Godspeed V2 tension rods (which are a straight design with an offset bushing). I was immediately surprised at how heavy and beefy these are! THE BODY OF THE TENSION ROD: - The body of the tension rod itself is a nice thick blue powdercoat finish. This is a nice change from the traditional painted pieces I have had (ISIS, GSP) that tend to chip and flake easily. - The body is fully threaded which is nice. No burrs on any of the threads. Everything operated nice and smooth THE HEIM JONT: - All of their new arms have dust boots on their heim joints which is great. - Had plenty of length on it for adjustments - Came with offset bushings to also add to clearance There are 2 locking nuts on the arm to prevent the alignment from changing. Plenty of clearance at full lock. Overall, I am very happy with these arms! They aren't as nearly as expensive as PBM or Voodoo13 but I feel they offer plenty of clearance and features that make them a perfect choice for my application. |
