Well...that website just proves that the G35 is infact the next Skyline. What a shame. I don't care what engine is possibly available for that chassis in Japan.....absolutely hideous.

Notice almost all of the Sklines pictured are 4 door?
Wonder why they did that? I kinda like the G35 sport coupe and thank goodness it is rear wheel drive. Urban legend that is floating around is that a 4Wheel Drive 2 door Altima may happen in 2007 and this may be a closer comparison to an updated 240SX...but of course...Urban legends are just that. The G35. It grew on me...especially after hearing one run. |

If you like the G35 then why not go for the 350Z? Also....what ever happened to that pic of what I thought the R35 Skyline was gonna look like.....it was way meaner looking than the G35 and had the same "happy eyes" headlights. I can't pinpoint the pic...but other people may remember what I'm talking about.

The engines they have are no more interesting than the G35, they just have some less powerful options below the VQ35DE. Skylines were all 4 doors until the late '60s, with the exception of the early Michelotti-built coupes. 4 doors are the mainstay of the line - 2 door turbo cars get the glory, but 4 door luxury models get the sales. The current coupe seems to be doing well, though. |
