yeah, my parents both suck. If you like DRAMA its worth reading this. and no, I cant make an abriged version.

I have known since I was 10 that they were gonna seperate.... they are just WAY too diffrent. anyways, about 9 months ago they decided to try a "marriage sabbatical", but before that happened they just decided to get divorced. woo hoo, I didnt see THAT one coming .
so my mom has to stay here because if she moves before the divorce is legally done, it can be said that she "abandoned" the house, and my dad would be able to keep EVERYTHING. They agreed to be civil about it, and they both think that the other one wont try to jip them, but they are just trying to be safe. you have to understand that my dad gets "short term" angry easily, but tends not to get "long term" angry at all, unless someone uses him, and my mom is a cuban bhuddist psychotherapist, which pretty much sums up her entire personality.

AAAAANNNNNYYYY ways, about 3 months ago she decided to buy a house in downtown Saint Louis, a run down POS one, and rehab it. the right one finally came along a month ago, but it was 12k, so they had to empty their non-retirment savings and checking accounts, and she used all his money to buy it (with his concent). its gonna be figured into the who takes what and all that, but its still all the money, so for about a month or so me and dad are going check to check untill he can get more money into the savings account.
Wait, rewind. She was planning to leave soon since everything seemed civil and she was fairly sure that he wasnt going to use the "abandoning the home" crap. Also, she has been sleeping in the guest bedroom for about 2 months, probably more.
So anyways tonight I notice that my parents seemed to have dissapeared. I go downstairs and notice yelling at the top of the stairs. my dad says "go away zach, we'll be done soon" in an angry way.

so then about a half hour later my dad comes storming upstairs grabs his carkeys and says "Im leaving, bye" and slams the door and leaves.

then my mom comes up, acting verry hurried and worried, and she is packing all her shiznit up. she asks me to help her carry some stuff out to her car, and I do, and its alot of stuff. anyways she was planning a trip to chicago and she leaves tomorrow morning, so I figured some of it was for the trip. she then tells me we are going to my grandfathers house (dads dad) and she is gonna stay there the night (we're all very close). I asked why I needed to go and she said she had stuff to talk to me about. whatever .

so we get there and we carry everything in and then we go and we sit at a table and she starts talking.





apparently one of her old highschool friends (male) has come back into her life, and it started as just friendship, but over the last 6 months it has developed into something more serious. She told my dad and he got really ****ed off, and now he thinks she has been using and manipulating him, and she is afraid he will use the "abandoning the house" crap.

so Im gonna get puking drunk tonight and have a shot of tequila for breakfast and if my dad has a problem with it he can suck a big one.

oh, and just so you know, my mom has all my car money to buy the house, and now Im only gonna get it when my dad re-finances the house in a month or so. time to sell my current car, as soon as school is out.

I'm sorry for all the drama and issues, that stuff really sucks.
Honestly though, do you think that's going to do anyone any good? Save that money for your car or to help your parents out, there are better things in life than turning to alcohol when you're depressed. That's for the weak!

ok, I TOTALLY agreww tiwh you. I think that sll this **** is for weak people, but for some reason I jhust felt like it! maybwe Im an alcoholic. no, honestly Im not. I drank 6 shots in half an hour in the shower and now I am making a perpreoni pizza hotpocxut.

see, I also get my alcohol for gree. there is a girl I know who works at dierbergs, and I eat her out whenever she needs some, and she gives me free alcohol.

and Im not depressed dude! I saw this coming! its just an exucse to get drunk on a weekday. I cant wait to see peoples reactions tomorrow when I have a neck shattering hangover. Im gonna go get my hot pocket now.

Aw, give the guy a break. This is obviously screwing him up, as it would with anyone. We've all seen low points in our lives, I'm sure better times are ahead.

And ZSP, do what you need to do man, but alcohol is not the answer. It sucks you have to go through this, but it'd be better if you kept sober in such a frantic time. Just don't do anything stupid now that you are drunk, stay at home!

I have.. and frankly, I've been more than lenient. It's unfortunate that things are going badly for him, but unfortunately, that's life. The behavior he displayed in this thread is indicative of his maturity and my only comfort in banning him is that I'll hopefully prevent Zilvia.net from getting in trouble and maybe force this guy to grow up a bit.

It may sound preachy, but alcohol is never the answer to anyone's problems, and it's especially unnecessary for highschool kids. That's my opinion on the matter, and alot of other folks share it.

zspturbo: I've warned you many times, and you knew the possible consequence. Maturity is not something you can buy.. you have to learn and experience, and unfortunately, you haven't learned or experienced enough yet. Hopefully one day you can come back and share some of what you've learned (both in cars and life), but for now I have to ban you.
Please don't register under a different name or whatever, because then we'll have to report you to your ISP for abuse, etc..
