selling
my name is erek lewis and i have been a 240 guy for a few years now, I built a high compression kamotor and droped it into my 240. some thing have come up and I have to sell it now, fiance is having a baby, and cannot keep the car, the engine has less then 10,000 miles on it and the suspension has a few thousand more, the exhaust system was done at the same time as the suspension.
here is a list of the modifications I have done... Engine/transmission: - DOHC swap - Custom Arias 10:6 compression pistons - Bored 0.020 over, to a 2.5 liter - Milled block and head - Fully new internals, bottom end and top end - Race ported & polished head - Port matched intake manifold - 5-angle valve job - Swirl polished valves - Jim Wolf valve springs and retainers - Full new engine gasket set - New polyurethane motor mounts - 255 lph Walbro fuel pump - ACT 2100 pressure plate, six puck un-sprung clutch disc, and throwout bearing - Machined flywheel - Stainless steel OBX 4-2-1 header - Full 2.5’’ exhaust, Dynomax high flow cat, and magnaflow muffler - MSD Blaster 2 coil - NGK silicone plug wires - NGK iridium plugs - Air filter box eliminator kit - Optima red top battery - Powder coated valve cover Interior: - Sparco Evo seats, with Greddy 4 pt. harnesses - Auto meter air/fuel, and oil pressure gauges - Custom made seat mounting brackets - Apex! super air fuel converter (safcII) - Gutted interior - Grant steering wheel Exterior: - KYB GR2 struts, Eibach sport line springs - Suspension Techniques sway bars and end links - SPL front tension rods (caster adjustment) - Brembo slotted rotors all around, and Hawk Ferro carbon pads - 600° racing brake fluid - Tenzo Racing Formula 10 wheels, with Bridgestone Potenza RE011 (215/45-17) tires Good stuff - this car HAULS and sounds great. Awesome drift car or autocross car, daily driver, but never entered in events. Only 10,000 miles since work was completed. Bad stuff - the engine has a slight oil leak at the oil pan, but I have not had time to fix it as a full time student and part time worker. The clutch throwout bearing/transmission (we don't know which one)makes a noise occasionally, but we can't determine why - the bearing/trans were installed along with the ACT clutch by a technician and drift driver with over 20 years of tuning and repairing imports. There is a slight bit of rust and body filler on the right rear quarter, along with the normal dings and scratches and paint issues of a 15 year old car. I also have a 1991-1994 front fascia and fenders if you're interested, I will throw it in for $150 extra. I have over $6,700.00 in the engine/transmission alone, $1,300.00 in seats, and another $2,000.00 in wheels/tires/suspension. my loss is your gain. The next step for the car was custom paint and body work, but the baby comes first. Over $11,000.00 invested, sacrificing at $5,500.00. any questions or for pictures e-mail me at [email protected], thank you |
