starter wont crank?

hey zilvia i have a ka24de hatch ive been puttin together slowly and i finally got the fuel pump to work (missed a ground to the firewall doh)
but now the stupid starter (which is BRAND SPANKIN NEW) wont crank over.it used too but now it wont.

EDIT:: STARTER IS NOT GETTING POWER
maybe a bad ground?
And suggestions will help!

Check the ground that should be it. Same thing happen to me.

not the ground.i jus tightened it all the way down haha. the solinoid or w/e doesnt even click.
is there a starter relay that could be inop?

Not trying to be a smart ass but take it back off and have it tested cause i bought one new and had the same problem and the starter was just dead when i had it tested

i am also having the same problem. i have a optima yellow top battery that shows 12.95 once i get it started... we have to hit the starter first.my question is would road salt be messing with me on this no starting sometimes starting deal? also is there any other cars that i can use the starter from? i have a 90 s13 with a rb25det series 2, thanks in advance im a new one at this whole thing

i had the same problem. ended up being the power wire frome my battery to starter wire was loose lol

started tested OK my power cable (positive is working and not loose) now just to find out why its not getting power haha...

how about the signal wire from the ignition switch?
apply power to the starter directly from the battery to see if it will turn, that way you will know if it works. if not go to your relay and see if that is working.
start with the obvious and backtrace it.

thank you i shall do that. the ignition switch is brand new but we will see what happens cause i know new parts doesnt mean they will work haha
