someone who has taken off a s13 gastank

anytips? and should putting my car on wheel ramps be high enough? im already on E so that should make it easy. i need to check for any leaks so i can pass this BS evap test.

try disconnecting them near the evap canister and applying vacuum to them to see it they hold if not move your way back to the gas tank.

how high are the ramps. i always try to get my car as high as i can get it if im not using a lift. i hate feeling cramped under cars. i say at least 2 feet so you can get the tank out. be careful when taking it out watch you pump iv seen people mess up their pumps removing the tank. it might be a good idea to remove it it u have no past experience just so u do not mess anything up.

It's easy to drop, a bit of a PITA to get it lined back up by yourself, but not horrible.

Yeah it also sucks if the bolts are rusted to hell and won't budge, unless you got airtools.
It is pretty straight forward to get off and the less gas inside of it, the better.

thanks for the help zilvia. i need to drop the tank to see if the filler tube is cracked. when i undo the straps is there anything else holding it on?
