MY friend has a 2001

MR-S. And we went to a local hop because he was searching for a exhaust. So the guy at the shop gave him a deal on a 5 Zigen fireball cat back, but my friend just got the car a few months ago. He got the car used and it still had existing warranty for like 5 years/70k miles. He was wondering if the exhaust will affect the warranty? In my shoes i wouldn't even care about the warranty but he really wants to keep it. So would the exhaust affect the warranty?

im pretty sure it will effect warranty... but if the time ever comes to use warranty, just swap back to stock exhaust.
