camppain: ive only actually hit 15.3 twice but i hit a 15.4 consistently, koukiS14 has the video so ull have to ask him, i can post a 15.3 timeslip if u want it too, but i usually get a 15.4 9 out of 10 times

Cam with a port and polish would do that. My friend shaved .5 seconds off his time after I ported his head. Cam would shave some more. Though I'd have to think that gearing is an issue. I'd have though you'd be in 3rd.

If he is running 14.68, which is a huge if, then he would be crossing at 93-96mph... I run 14.8 at 93ish... with my auto.  Stock 240sx, running stock 15.8 should cross at like 86-88, which is at the very top of third.
But... I dunno.  That time is fucked up.  So is 15.0.  For a COMPLETELY stock 240sx.

Wow........ I guess..  But anyways off the topic from stock to MODED cars.  What are ppl's best times with light to heavy modded ka24de's??  and are they running a a broad powerband??  also is it better to have the car driven to like 6000 RPM?? is it THAT much better than just shifting after 5200 RPM ??

Let's look at some brief facts:

1. he has been a member here since July 2001 with only 80+ posts

2. he posts he has a sick fast 1/4 mile on a stock 240

3. he posts this revelation in October 2002, yet the alleged run was in July?

4. *his* timeslip mentions "HOTROD"

5. he posts a scanned timeslip that has the track name and date cut off at the top, yet shows the raggedy edge at the bottom

This is BS all the way!!!  The scanned timeslip has been cropped to omit the track's name and date of the slip.  This is a feeble attempt to substantiate an obvious lie.

If he wants to silence these BS claims, then he should have no problem running his stock 240 in front of credible zilvia.net members for authentication.

Yeah, I think i'm going to have to call BS on this one too, mostly because his class is listed as a hotrod. It also doesn't help that he's cut off part of the slip though.

He DID run that, I was there.. I made a vid of his famous run, but with my friend's cam... I need to get a copy of it. =)  he's never online when I need to talk to him...  

I even TOUCHED the REAL timeslip lol. . I feel kinda special =)

I remember how inspired I was. . lol he's the one that got me to almost decide to race my stock 97 with open diff, too lol

what techniques are you using to in the quarter mile. I'd like to get my time anywhere close to yours being is that my 60' time is about the same.
