Screws in the wheel well that secure door moulding? You been smoking crack again?

The door waist moulding is secured with one screw at the back edge by the window, then it pulls straight up, there's retaining clips every few inches.

If you're just planning to take it off and have it look perfectly smooth, yes, you'll have to get the holes filled in and repainted. It's going to leave 4-5 holes in your door sill. What are you scared off? Remove the screw and slowly pull up every few inches until the clips release. If you're scared to pull a door molding off you're probably in the wrong hobby.

You guys have fucked the thread to hell and back. Why would you want to shave the door mouldings? You need them for one thing, and the car will look like ass without them.

If you're talking about the sideskirts, use the correct fucking terminology.

And there it is.

OE did not supply door trim (body side moulding) on any model 240SX, ever. It's either dealer installed or some fool owner stuck it on. 99% of what's fitted these days is just adhesive mounted. My 93 Altima GXE had them and I pulled them right off on a hot day.

^^^ Yeah, what he said, or keep in mind that a heat gun can be had for dirt cheap, I got a Miller Electric one at Home Depot for like 15 bucks
