Weekend @ Fuji + Nismo Silvia 270R Spotting

Had another track day this past weekend up at Fuji.

New updates on the car:
Rocket Factory Crank Pulley
Greddy E-Manage
A/M FRP hood

Car is making a bit more power with the e-manage set up. Could go a bit more aggressive as im told.

Anyhow, few photos from the track. The Nismo 270R was just parked, didnt see it on the track at all.

On the hunt for one of these loaders just now. The time has come...need to look the part hahahaha

I believe garage rental is in the 12,000 JPY range for the day.

And some jdm goodness ya prevert!

Not one to brag but finally had a chance to run a GT86. It appeared stock but at the same time not totally true as we were running over 180KPH on the main straight. These are limited at 180KPH out of the box, like every other car in JDM land.

In the corners and under braking I naturally had an advantage. The Silvia after-all has had a shit load of work put into the brakes / susp. over the years. But will admit that I could only muster a slight speed advantage up to 4th gear, then into fifth we stayed matched. The 4.6 final drive has its advantages and disadvantages /

Just one photo at the start gate. Really need to invest in a vid cam.

Never really had a look at a KA before, but seeing now that upper hose fairly long.

The 1JZ hose seems long and may work.

It is, bit of die hard NA guy. I would think 180-185HP with the current tune.

With a future planned overhaul im gunning for 225-250 HP. The head has a lot of room for adjustment as does the bottom end.

I know they have silicon hoses for the KA. I was implying I wish they made the Blitz upper hose for a KA because it has the nifty water temp sender adapter built into the hose. No need to cut $100+ dollar hoses in half for a adapter piece. Plus it looks a lot cleaner IMO.

oh gotcha. yeah i was just thinking about that myself (how im considering silicone hoses for my KA but that im gonna have to cut em for water temp sensor)
