It's actually nothing special. It's a completely jet black G1 devoid of any sort of branding.

The back cover has some fancy polygonal design on it. (there's already shitloads of aftermarket back covers out there anyways so also nothing special here.)

Internally it's referred to as the "Holiday Phone" since instead of receiving a christmas bonus, people received this G1 instead.

P.S. Did you ever think Android could look so snazzy on a Moto phone?
