I have this thing on my palm centro called ringo pro and it lets me use any song on my sd card and use it as a ringer...the whole song, not just 30 secs of it. Right now I have some prodigy, firestarter as my ringer for everyone.

No extra software on my phone, but it is a prototype without any of the AT&T firmware, so I am able to do that as well, and it PISSES people off when they can't do it with phones they got in the AT&T stores, lol.

Stupid ass Chocolate doesn't let me pick ringtones off of of songs on my phone and I refuse to pay for ringtones. If anyone knows how to do that on the Chocolate PLEASE let me know.

I love verizon but I hate their phones. I try to use third party phones when ever possible so I can change stuff...palm, blackberry, windows mobile.

myxertones.com Create ringtone, download it to your computer, send it to yourself from your email to [email protected]. When it arrives as a text message extract the song and save it as a ring tone. This works on most verizon phones but I have seen a few of the older ones where this doesn't work. Good luck.

I love old video game songs as rigntones. On my old phone I had pretty much every song from the NES Metroid I also had Double Dragon and Skate or Die songs.
