anyone role on 14's?

all the ssr wheeks i can find are in 14". i know there arent many tires that comes in a 70 /14. all i want is a wheel w/ a fat lip, thats why i was looking into ssr. what i really want is a 16x8 w/ a 30 offset. i was actually thinking of konig greenlights or heliums in 15 but like i said i would rather have a 16

If you are actually looking for a +30 offset, you are probably not going to find it in a Konig. You might be able to find a similiar wheel from another manufacturer in the proper offset, but I would be very surprised if you found it made by Konig as they seem to do a lot more FWD offset applications.

A good cheap wheel? I wish it wasn't the case, but you're going to have to pick one of the two. Good wheels don't come cheap.

After doing some research and shopping I have learned that quality doesn't come cheap.
-The compromise: the more money you save, the worse the wheel
-Decent compromise: Wheels that have come reccomended by people other than Zilvia members are -Rota, 5Zigen, and Kosei. I haven't seen any other wheels that are of the more affordable category that still keep weight and perfomance as priority

The rest of the pack are just eye candy and will need to be replaced two or three potholes later. So it just makes sense to spend a little more now to avoid more later on wheels that you don't like that much

This is just from what I have seen and heard

no, i don't think anyone here rolls on 14s. Smallest are 15s...and quite a few people have that setup. 14s will require VERY tall tires...unless you are comfortable with a lot of fender gap. and yes, you *can* lower the car to get rid of the gap on top...but not on the sides. just as yucky, IMHO.

check out the Becketts here:

http://www.autoimaging.com/shop/index.php?shop=1&cat=85

$165 each, and good offset, and light weight.. I might pick up a set for the track.

Whoa hey! I like those... didn't realize they were that easy to find.

16x7's enough for a 225/50, too...

I'll check when I get home, I *think* that's slightly cheaper than the custom drilled 16x7.5 +32 Kosei K1s.

honda market=no lip

I posted my response a while ago when I didn't have rims. It's all about persistance. Someone out there has wheels (that are perfect for you) that they don't want anymore, it's your job to find that person. It took me two years to find mine hopefully your quest won't be so long

Always check jspec.com Sometimes they have killer deals on wheels that won't clear z brakes. That's if, of course you don't have z brakes or don't plan to get them.

Edit: on jspec right now

A set of 4 used Weds Professor.
16x7 +20 offset front with about 1.5 inch lip and 16x8 +23 offset rear with 2 inch lip for any 5 lug 240sx.
Does NOT come with tire, lug nuts, or valve caps. This is a great set of wheel for track or canyon runs. One of the wheel has curb damage(see photo). Will NOT clear Z brake without spacers, will clear coilovers. $500 plus shipping.

haha, yeah, I was looking at the +33 Becketts, not the other wheels. +42 would still fit fine with stock suspension and 225's though... S14 stock wheels are +42...

Well it looks like the custom drilled K1s would run $179 apiece in 16x7.5, which would make the decision tough since I'd rather one-stop-shop and get the full setup from tirerack with Kumho Ecsta MX already mounted... and at only $10 more a wheel it might make the Koseis cheaper overall (SHIPPING)
