Thanks for the nice comments guys!
Not much updates, but atleast something! Head is installed, valve clearance checked, cams and cam gears installed. The plate behind cam gears is now painted with some lace, I also installed an 326power crown sticker there and there couple extra layers of clear to keep it there. I think it looks pretty cool. I also graduated few weeks before and my parents bought me my own tool drawer! It's an empty drawer, but it's still an amazing present! Now I can buy tools of my own choice to it and keep them secure and all nice. Yesterday I installed some water lines and noticed of fucking ugly the upper water neck is since it comes right front of the cam gears... fknposuglymofo.. I think I'll cut it and get some AN-hose to make it look all pretty.

Must be one of my favorite upgrades in a while. Villains Drift was kind enough to send me their 40mm extension pieces and now she is starting to look perfect! Expect the zero camber on rear that will be fixed soon to have few degrees less than on front. With a quick look, the amount of camber is -11degrees. <3

Sorry guys, it has been pretty quiet with the project. Finally, after nine weeks of waiting, my parts from driftmotion have arrived in Finland and hoping to receive them this week! Engine mounts, transmission mounts, power steering tank, power steering line, flywheel bolts etc.. small bits.
But this has been happening. I got some billet & polished powerhouse pulley set. I have to say that these, these my friends look absolutely stunning! Compared to my dad's old china pos set, these are quality. Expensive, but totally worth it if you care about looks too. And my friend got these high quality (but china made, sorry for the let down) intake manifolds as an group buy and I could not pass the deal. It looks really well made and looks A LOT better than the stock JZ one. Oilstick needs new place where to sit. I tried next to the intake manifold, but it looks like shit in there. Tried to change it, but the stick is really really hard to get to the bottom. I think I just need to make the corners more soft and larger, maybe it will work then. What do you think? Also I wanted to get rid of the stock door cards and make my own aluminium ones to get that race car look. This one is just a version.1 to see what I need to change. I need to make it little bit shorter and a bit higher so I can make a corner that comes to the side window. Then I'll just use self tapping screws to attach it and get that rough look I am aiming for. Almost forgot to mention these "door handles" I made. I want a clean look and I do NOT want to use the old fashion door handles. Going to drill a hole to the door card and just pull this trough. Works really well and is almost invisible next to the brushed aluminium. Also started to do some itasha/anime design for the door cards. Why? Because I can. :-D And few extra pictures for you <3 Have a good one guys! Will post updates soon as something happens.

Finally! I've been waiting for this moment over a year now. Even tho everything didn't go 110% like planned, I am a very happy man at the moment! Engine + transmission is now in and bolted down. There are some little things to do for now. The new intake manifold hits to the tub. I am going to send it to a fabricator to shorten runners around a 1-1.5". Yea, I know that it will affect the intake manifold performance etc.., but that is the best, fastest and cheapest way to go for now.
To the good things! Engine looks to sit very low on the bay, xcsessive mounts fit perfect and transmission is not hitting the tunnel apparently. I need to take a closer look in couple days to see that I am fully correct with that. My R154 is the shorter version so some cutting on the shifter hole is required, but it's not really a problem. Also, I am thinking to try out to make the valve covers look like brushed steel. Atleast trying. I'll post about that later when I try the idea out. Here are some pictures for you!!

Super small update.
I didn't know what color to choose for my valve covers so I decided to take a grinder and make something up. These are the results and I love them!! Some small things need to be done to them, but this definitely is the thing I want. My dad rebuilt his Meisters during the winter and since his Supra is at the paint shop I decided to borrow them and test fit them on my S13. Now my Equips are for sale. 19" + chrome looks soo goooood! Think these with 7" + 8.5" lips.

My life is full of financial mistakes..
My friend was selling his Cusco 6pt cage with added harness bar for cheap price. Had to pick them up and yesterday tried test fitting them. They do not fit like welded cage (well no shit, it's a bolt cage) and I knew that so no problem there. I am thinking about making bolted X braces like this Audi R8 has. Shouldn't be a big problem to make them. These are in bad paint and in a color that doesn't match up with the car so I am repainting them. I am thinking about the engine bay red + rainbow flake, but I am open to ideas! Let me know if you have any ideas. Some pics how they fit. Also my dad bought me some electrical stuff for my birthday since I turned 19 two days ago. Gosh I feel old. 200meters of wire, some switches, battery, relays, etc.. small stuff. I think I'll do my tail light this weekend if the stuff arrives tomorrow! Trying to keep you guys updated, but I've been really lazy with this thing. Hoping to drive before turning 20......

Okayy, it's been a quite fun few weeks for now.
I've started to do the interior wiring, but oh man.. My welder fcreking sucks!! It uses gas and doesn't have a docking base so doing wiring is really frustrating with it. Going to buy a new one soon so I can continue on them. I did finish off my valve covers. They just need some clear coating and they should look pretty good. I like how the waves become alive when you walk past them. Also did do some photoshopping and Black on Black wheels could look awesome on the car! Should I change the yellow away when the wheels are getting rebuilt? Maybe. But the Datsun is not why I am making this post. They say that you should do your biggest mistakes when you're young.. Well... I went with it! I bought myself an new daily driver that I am going to try to use trough the winter. My friend was selling his Toyota JZZ30 Soarer, 5spd manual, worsen LSD, flared and had some small engine modifications. Well here she is!! For the few past days we have snow coming from sky and weather has went below freezing point so I decided to change my winter tires on. I got some Nankang SV-2 winter tires and well... They're 255/35r18 and my old summer tires were LingLong 265/35r18. They stretched so well to the rears that I decided to get one step narrower tires, the 255/35's. Bad fucking idea. The Nankangs seemed to be 1-1.5" narrower than the LingLongs even tho they should have been only 10mm narrower. I thought that this is not going to go well and you can be the judge. They did not stretch at all compared to the linglongs. Nankang's seem to have so stiff side wall that they just do not want to stretch. Huge amount of lubricant didn't help either. Well.. I've been driving like that for few days and around 30miles now and they have not lost any air so I'll keep driving like that and iff they start to fck with me, I'm going to try to find decent price wider ones to the rear. Front is okay, but the rear is what it is.

Baby steps, but they're firm steps! Got some AN parts. Going to buy a breather tank and I'll be using AN lines for it and also I am going to use AN20 upper water hose. Should look cool!
And sometimes I end up buying stupid shit that doesn't actually help finishing the car at all.. Lambo door hinges!! I've been dreaming of getting these for a while and now I got some DIY models for a steal! 15bucks a pair!! Had to grab them and straight to installion. They need some work to clear the fender perfectly and some minor modifications to make the door line up correct. The door sits around 5mm too far back at the moment.

Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone!
I think that the full chrome is too bling bling for this, black center and chrome lips would look awesome tho! That will happen in future too. I did some research and calculations. For upgrading my suspension arms and brakes, it's gonna take like six grands. Well, young boy gotta save up! I've had this thing for five years now, I'd really like to drive it for the first time in 2018. :-D

Again a small update, waiting and trying to find some parts at the moment. I started doing some wiring job. I am going to use these universal fuseboxes to replace all the OEM ones. Interior harness is going to be so so simple that I do not see a reason to use different wire colors. They're all going to be red that is going to get wrapped in a black sleeve. Also I am going to mark all the wires with numbers and list the numbers up what is what.
It was awesome feeling to see the Type X light up for the first time! They look so cool! When doing my front bumper lighting I ran into a problem.. The bulb sockets and the wires on them were so bad that I'd have to cut the sockets up and solder new wires to it. I decided to trash them and just order new ones from Nissan. Then I got an email that said Nissan is not producing them anymore... FUCK. I am trying to buy used ones from Finland with zero luck.. If someone of you have a new pair of those Pignose bumper light sockets for sale let me know! I need to get a custom made spark plug cover for the 1JZ. I ordered new bolts for it that are 24ct gold plated. Stupid? Yes. Expensive? Yes. Was it a good decision? Yes.
