White smoke when vac line is unplugged

I've been having trouble finding a cause for white smoke to come out of my car that smells just like gas. I was checking if my fuel pressure was right and when I undid the vac line on the FPR and it caused white smoke to continuously come out, it is a Megan Racing FPR could it be bad or?

I just know that undoing the vac line causes to the fuel pressure to rise but not sure about the concept behind it so don't know what is bad to cause he smoke.

Thanks for all and any help!

Leaky injector.
Also get rid of that FPR.

Been meaning to update, car still smokes a little every now and then. It is very random when it does, replaced both o-rings on all 4 injectors and the fuel rail seals. I got parts for a KA24de, that would be the right seals right?

Wondering if anyone would have any ideas of where to check but my car is burning white smoke sometimes small puffs sometimes big puffs, and oil is low. Since it's not blue it's not in the combustion chamber, correct?

Well I checked the turbo front and rear side and front side shaft play was minimal(ISR Turbo previous owner) but it does look like it scratched the housing, is that turbo for sure then? Also the coolant return line which is also an ISR part installed by previous owner is also leaking, not sure if that would help any.

Fix all the known issues and I think you'll find the white smoke culprit.

If it doesn't, it would still help because you would have eliminated quite a few things.

So should I definitely change out the turbo? That's my main thing, not sure if it's bad or not. It's been running with the elbow on with the top 2 bolts until recently so that could've messed up the rear seal but there was no play?

If the blades are scratching the housing, the safe bet is to get rid of it. I think that even if it is salvagable, the price to revive it might be close to a brand new one. That's my take on turbos anyway.
