How can I tell valves are bent. I got a good deal on 89 240sx
But they say valves are bent and the motor half way torn down so how can I tell if they are really bent. Any help would be great thank you.

Take them out, roll them on a flat surface. See if they roll in a relatively even circle. lol. Not super accurate, but will do.

Google will come up with other helpful, informative ways to check each individual valve.

How hard is it to change valves

Do a compression test, if the compression is 0, gauranteed bent valve.
