I was just catching howard stern and saw an advertisement for the new satellite radio thing. Do u guys think this is goin to be a big thing? Do u think u will probably get it??? Does nebody know nething about it?? Just wondering TIN

I dont think it will be huge because most people just aren't going to pay to listen to the radio. I think it will appeal to people who commute a lot and those people who just like having lots of gadgets in their car.

iv talked to a few people about it and in my opinon if you have the money go for it
you get over 300 stations 24h music BUT you have to buy the transcever to conect to the satalit and you have to pay for the service i dont know how much it is yet???$$ but like i said if you have the money and love music than it worth it |

i personally would get it
i mean with cd playeres getting cheaper and cheaper and sooner or later a car mp3 thing, would you really spend money listening to what they consider to be one genre, or would u rather burn ur own favorite songs and listen to em? |

Soon as I have the money for an alpine XM reciever and 10 dollars a month i'm getting Sattelite radio. It's totally awesome. No commercials, 300 stations... I mean come on, isn't that cool?

i'm all for it ;0- i'm looking to by an alpine head unit very soon,... i used to live in japan and we had cable radio where we got over 300 some odd channels, ####, we got bird calls and counting sheep, it was a blast, always good for a laugh <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> i'll dish out the monthly for sure,,
