i must not be a true anime enthusiest becuase i cant stand anything from the 90s and below.. hahahah sorry.. i try to watch classics and i just loose interest becuase the art looks soo old /borring.. stuff from 02 and up is great though

I know the series fell short of finishing the story...I just havent had the time to read the manga online and most comic stores around my area dont carry anything foreign. Does anyone know of japanimation with similar type story and plot with the level of a Berserk or Vampire hunter D...I would like to see some good robot films with fight sequences at the level of Ghost in the Shell...any recommendations???

But you're right pre 90s stuff looks so dated.

The Berserk scanslations are floating around the net but you gotta do some digging. Well worth it.

As far a series with similar feel, look no further then the recently finished Claymore. Again, the manga continues from the series ending point but still a very good (and bloody) show.
