1995 ka24de into a 1997 s14 chassis Engine harness HELP!
Hey just wondering if anyone knows what plugs on the engine harness i need to modify for a 1995 ka into a 1997 chassis ?

shit will never pass smog again cant put an older motor in a newer car. you'll have to tell anyone you sell this car to as well.

it will pass smog if he uses the obd2 stuff off the intake manifold. longblock are all the same. just swap over the intake manifold (if you dont have one, buy a 97-98 intake manifold with all its sensors)

If it was a ka24e -> ka24de you'd have a point, but the emissions place isn't going to be able to tell just by the engine. I have a newer (95+) engine in my S13 and the smog guys in CA didn't notice. The only way to tell easily is the location of the valve cover bolts and I doubt the emissions people would have those memorized. |
