Awesome cars man, Im one of Jon Manderville's friends from up in NY. We were talk'n about the engine swap he wants to do in his fc and he sent me the link to your build. Love the engine bay in the red car, it looks super clean. Makes me motivated to re-spray and clean my bay up again this year. Look'n forward to more updates.
*edit* just realized you had posted in my build thread a while ago say'n you knew Jon. |

Thanks man! Love your s13 truck too haha.
So I guess ill post the "build" pics... Heres a pic of all my stuff back from powdercoating... the red is super sparkly candy apple red, just cant get a good pic of it haha... Started reassembling everything... PBM eccentric rack bushings, PBM inner tie rods, and Abercrombie Motorsports 2in extended outer tie rods. Got everything assembled and threw a wheel on to see what kind of lock im getting with the new setup... Pretty damn good for cut knuckles and extended LCA's... Leading and trailing wheel are almost identical angle wise... Ill post better pics once I get everything aligned and stuff... Rolled it outside for the first time in two months and admired for a few before I rolled it back in to drop the motor in... Didn't take any pics during the process but motor dropped in, which was a pain in the ass btw: That's about it picture wise... Finished buttoning up some stuff, finishing intercooler/piping, and a few other things right now... Gotta order a downpipe still, powersteering and a few other things. Ended up turning the motor over today to check my wiring so far... Cranked over great... Super excited about that. |

Nice! How did you get the paint in the engine bay to come out like that? I've been meaning to ask this earlier on.
Hopefully, I will see this at some OSW events soon. Keep up the awesome quality work.

Painters secret on the engine bay haha :P.... Its just silver base with a pattern laid down onto it, gunmetal over the pattern then candy gold over top of everything. |

Some updates from the weekend/today
Started by chopping the TRC stuff off of the throttle body.. Then ported the inside a bit to make it flow nicer once we welded the new piece on... About half a day later it was pretty much done... Should flow really nice, and the larger piece of piping was welded on so I didn't have to run a reducer coupler on the throttle body... Its all smoothed out inside (not finished in the picture below yet): Also finished welding my intercooler. Had to cut the end tanks and weld on 90deg smooth bends (all ground down to flow smoothly as well) to clear my tube front/radiator.. No progress pics, but heres a pic to show what im talking about: Throttle body reinstalled, intercooler back in, and piping complete: Going to have to cut/reweld the lowpressure inlet on the powersteering pump, but that's no big deal as im going with AN lines for it anyways... Was a nice sunny day so I rolled it out to get all the dust off the car and stuff... Need to work on the front end alignment still as you can see... Need to pull the bumper bar in some on the sides to get everything fit nice and move the fenders a little, but that's on the bottom of my priorities list right now haha... More to come soon. |

Been awhile since updates and I haven't really been taking too many pics but ive scrounged up what I could...
Ok so when I left off the motor was in, just needed to finish everything up... Coolant system (Problend Motorsports 40 below and Distilled water) Needed a coolant overflow so I made one out of this monster can.... Cant see it, but its better than nothing. Filled the car up with all Lucas Oil products. Finished buttoning up stuff, and was pretty much ready for the event.... Was bored so I stenciled my blog logo and sprayed it on the intercooler.. Came out kinda cool. Mounted up a bunch of tires... Loaded up the trailer.... Went and had a blast. No major issues, just a few bugs I had to work out throughout the day, couldn't have done it without the help of all my friends. Some video's (I was a dumbass and forgot to turn my gopro off so it died pretty quick). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgvYP...X7kMiggZUpVL2t Out of car vids, most of these runs were from early in the day when I was still getting used to the car.... laid down some good runs towards the end of the day that I was pretty content with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sxv0...M7AYpg&index=2 After that event I kinda relaxed for a bit and just fiddled with the car, got a steal of a deal on a legit Dmax roof spoiler so I painted that up and threw it on the car: And then some work that ive done for customers over the past couple of weeks (If you want work done shoot me a message I can do valve covers, aero, ANYTHING pretty much including custom special effects like sparkle and the honeycomb I used, etc.) And just a random snapshot from the gopro I thought was cool to leave off with. Next event is next sunday Im pretty excited, made a few changes to the car so im anxious to see how they help. |

It's red it just has a lot of copper pearl in it which makes it look orange in some views. I can't remember the code but it's called torredor red pearl. I think it's a ford color.

Because I do not have $4000 to invest into a proper so.gle setup right now..... I'll be going single as soon as money permits. Twins are plenty for now anyways.

Hey guys, I managed to make it into a wiring specialties contest, and could really use some voting help. If you could take a quick second and vote for me I would be SUPER appreciative!
