Ok. So on my s13 my pop up lights come up whenever i want no problem but whenever i turn off the lights they don't go down..... ever. I have checked the switch and all connections, they are fine (the lights go up). Then I thought it might be a loose wire going to my light switch in the steerign collum but i checked all of them under different situations with a voltmeter and its all fine. I have put the headlights down by hand and then hit the switch and they go right back up but never go down. Any thoughts?

i have same problem, but should be my switch on my steering column or something because the light worked great on my friends car.

Yeah mine is doing the same thing :/ they go up but won't come down

Not to state the obvious or insult anyone's intelligence; but have you all tried the push-switch on the lower left dash? If it's in the wrong position, the lights won't go down until it is back in the correct position.

Update:
When I manually turn down the headlights and press the switch the headlights come up. So switch is okay. Since I figure the headlights come up I think the motors work. The only thing I can think of is a bad relay going to check them with a relay checker. Anybody else have any luck or input

The one that says to pull out a connector take it apart and clean it? Yeah I've read that before. Seems over board if you ask me. One if those things that may or may not fix the problem. I like to narrow down likely causes not just random take stuff apart no offense. Just tired of people telling me to search when I have

I've pulled the switch apart and the column
both had corrosion, cleaned both and it didn't fix the problem
I'm thinking since there is a signal in the switch to go up and down that the signal for down has gone bad
I'm going to replace the switch and see of that works
