auto ecu in 5spd car?

I have a 96 s14 shell im trying to get back on the road. basically I need to know if a s14 ka auto ecu will work in place of a manual ecu? My car is original 5spd but have an auto ecu. I did some research and only found stuff on auto to 5 spd swaps. I am not changing to auto trans just need to know if this auto ecu will work.

works, only issue i had with an auto ecu, was that when you go to a dead stop it revs up and goes back to idle.
