SR20DET advice

I am getting ready to purchase my engine very soon but the problem is I want to do a complete rebuild and have the head, block and crank balanced and blue printed. I also want to perform a complete rebuild with 9:1 pistons and new rods, new seals etc. My problem is that most places only offer a 30 day start up garuantee and I really don't want to have to do the swap, start it up and then pull it out to do this work on the motor. Is there any alternative? I was planning on getting a motor from heavy throttle since they are about 2 hours north of me.
Thanks!

Considering you are planning on tearing down the motor that they will be testing before selling it to you, I doubt that they will still provide a warranty after a rebuild unless they rebuild the motor themselves.

if you can, test the electronics (CAS, ECU mainly) on someone's car to ensure they work. If you are doing a rebuild then you shouldnt have to worry about much else

I got a better idea for ya, come to my house and buy one of my blown sr20det redtops, 1 with spun bearing and one with bent valves. You can swap head to make a good engine. Let me know
