hey all,

i recently did a 5 lug swap to my 240sx. s14 5lug +brakes front, and 300zx 5lug +brakes in rear.

Yesterday my right rear bearing went bad.
Questions:

- Can i just press in the bearing or do i need to buy the whole hub bearing?

I believe the rear bearings are apart of that bolt on flange.You press off flange with bearing and all.Then you press on your new flange with bearing.They call these unit bearings because they are in a holder.That should help you out.Also call carquest if you have one,they can get from a place called worldpac,oem parts without the carline box.I have bought several honda and nissan things from them.Goodluck

So basically i am looking at the TIMKEN 512014. Some say its fits 240sx, some say it fits 300zx.

So my question is, can i use normal 240sx rear hub bearings and press them in the 300zx hub?

if not, please tell me what is the right procedure of doing this.. i really need help!

let me know if the timken 512014 will fit and if it is the one i need to buy.!

I've never heard of anyone even trying to do that. Why not just go buy re manufactured one at Autozone and turn yours in as a core?
