All the donk riders here are black. Most of them with dreads and gold teeth. Even though the college is here, most of the local population is very uneducated. Especially the non-white sector. Stereotypes hold very true hear, though in not so great ways. The mexican population put flames, exhausts and catholic stuff on their cars regardless if its a 96 saturn or a mustang.

Most of the donks here are terrible looking cars. Not terrible because they are donks, terrible because they take cars with chipped paint, bent fenders, missing lights, rattle can paint, etc. and put rims on them.

The white population here doesn't really get into black culture. Well except for the surge of white guys listening to Gucci mane and having systems in their vehicles.

Like that ancient pic that floated around the internet years ago of the RX-7 body on a 4X4 frame? It was lifted waaaay up, and had mud slingers on it. Just toss some 60" rims on it that are gold plated and you're good to go.

fixed. We have a mixed bag here of white, black and spanish dudes doing donks. I like the well done ones, the thing I hate is a busted up hoopie with $4000 in wheels, tires and train horns on them. Don't even get me started on stereos.

There is a pretty nice one that cruises around here usually with a stuffed gorilla in the rear passenger window.

I saw my first donk a couple days ago (Tampa FL). Being from the UK I don't usually get to witness such automotive genius driving on the streets. It definitely made me smile.

To average Joe Public, our stupidly loud impractically low cars with sticky out wheels are no different to these brightly colored super high domestics.

We lower our cars for looks. They raise theirs. We try to get our wheels as flush as possible. They try to get theirs as large as possible.

We're not that different at all

Cool thing about the Norcal donks, is that a huge majority of them rock nice paint as well as nice interior with a cool powerplant setup.

Meanwhile the kid in the steelied up, primered 240sx with a sohc and blown shocks/springs laughs at them saying their car looks stupid and shitty.

I used to be a faithful magazine buyer (or stealer) but recently havent even found them worth my time. If you look at any recent magz all they try and do is tell kids what brands are fucking jdm approved.:ghey: Im glad i still ahve all my old mags from 99+.
