yeah man subframe pillar mounts will be part of the roll cage, when we finish this, if you hit the car will be like hit a wall

I'm surprised no one mentioned his new seating position. LHD conversion..lol. I wouldn't do that to a S15 it's so gorgeous. Alot of wor is being put into this car and it looks go so far. Keep it up man.

I think that's for strengthen the soldering, because they are two pieces, one is the tubing and the other piece is the machined one. When you weld the pieces, you put the machined piece inside of the tubing and then you weld it. So the holes are for strengthen the machined part that's inside of the tubing and in this way there is not so much stress between the welded parts.

Ah, makes sense now. I didn't realize those were machined inserts at first. What diameter and wall thickness tubing are you making your cage from?

Also, your English is very good. Don't worry too much about it.
