Sorry if this is old (which I'm sure it is). It's the front end of a Datsun Z on an S13 HB......

S'ok
I saw that one in last months Option 2 magazine. It looks ok. Better at night. =) It costs something like 3300. I don't know if it's worth it though. BUT it is different. So, thumbs up in that department.

I think it looks great! The headlight design has always been my favorite part of the 240z, but I never imagined it would look good grafted onto an s13, or any other car for that matter. Must be one hell of a converson though.

It's a BEAUTIFUL conversion!
there's a brief (3-page?) article on that car (or at least a very similar one) in the August Drift Tengoku magazine... now that is one HOT machine. That conversion is the best front-end conversion I've ever seen on a 180sx. The best tail light conversion I've ever seen on a 180 was an s14mc taillight and rear bumper conversion. That car was also featured in August's Drift Tengoku magazine. Dead sexy. |

That is quite possibly the only "conversion" I would ever consider for my car. IMO the S13 240SX hatchback is the styling and evolution of the Z31 combined with the ideals of the S30(cheap, fun, RWD) This conversion pays homage to that.
Oh, and the pic is jacked from Freshalloy member PongAtari's Imagestation pictures from the Osaka Auto Messe. At least that is where I got them back in the day. There are a couple more views in there: http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290697709 -Matt

looks pretty nice but yah i think the fact that they're just from two different times....i think if you saw the car in full view, it just wouldn't look right. Plus the front looks a little long no?

its just wrong . It looks wrong. Having been the owner of several 240z's and 240sx's I would never mix the 2 . The share similarities in design but just leave it that way.
I do not think its the shznit! If you think it is, you seriously have a case of my car does not look good enough for me sickness.

I'd rather see this than another stupid ****ing strawberry face.
As a matter of fact, I'd rather see almost anything than see another stupid, riceboy bull****, done to death, overpriced strawberry face conversion. As a matter of fact, I daresay this is the only front end conversion I like at the moment. |

Ok, now I want to see someone put a 510 front end on a G20/Primera or something. You never know, might look interesting! Classic front end conversions... what will they think of next?

remindes me of those kits to convert late model pickups and put like fiberglass fifties replica frontends on them and that frightens me
