I still have a potato gun, made it from about 20 bucks worth of crap I bought at lowes and I use nair hairspray as fuel, I can shoot a racoon out of a tree at 30 yards, even when we are a 6 pack under...

I dunno about that my friend burnt the shit out of his side.  Where we had the ignitor in the side that tape burnt through and fried him.  He was ok but I have never laughed that hard in my life.  By the way our potato gun is pimp, painted camo has a flash supressor and will shoot half way across the Ohio river  which is about 150 200 yards.  

Try spray paint or propane it works a little better, makes it kick like a shotgun  and will put a hell of a dent in a Honda hood. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>
