I like this thing a lot, if it is 9-10k I might get one. I was looking at an STI but I don't want to spend 300+ a month on insurance

Buy this thing, sell my POS s13 or part it out, buy an s14 project to drive on weekends - thats the plan for 2009 I think.

yeah, well the cube has been available in Japan for quite some time...so those are older years (like 2003ish)...the US 2009 version isnt MUCH different, but its still appealing nonetheless

It's odd they don't mention the e-4WD offered on the Japanese version. I wonder if we are not even getting tht s an option.

I'm interested in one too, but i'm more interested in the way it drives. If the susp is floaty, the steering is light and vague, forget about it. econoboxes within similar price range like the Versa and Yaris look good on paper, but they seem designed for comfort and aren't much fun to drive.

It does look nice, but I'm not going to throw down 10k for looks alone.

I don't think this car is going to fo for $10k guys. The Versa is stripped down more then the girls at Cheetah's and it's barely $10k. I'd expect this to start around $15k.

the car is NOT gonna sell for $10k...starting price (as i was told from a dealer) will start somewhere around $13-$14k...and prolly end up around $15-$16k out the door after tax n license...and dealer options

Which is why (IMO) I feel the Cube will be priced with a higher MSRP. Nissan wouldn't want to undercut sales of another one of their vehicles.

Sucks E-AWD isng going to be offered in the US models, but after doing some reading i guess it isnt that usefull unless its from a dead stop as it disengages after a specific speed (since its elec. motors that turn the rear wheels). kinda wack...but a nice feature non-the-less...

I haven't seen anywhere that says it isn't. It just wasn't listed on their website so I was speculating.
