single cam / dual cam question
I'm about to purchase and engine bay harness (the harness with 2 fuse/relay blocks) and it's from a single cam car. I have a dual cam and a dual cam engine harness already.
Was there any difference between the engine bay harness for the ka engine cars? Or are they the same? |

If you have a dual cam stick with dual cam parts. If you have single cam stick with that. It will make it way easier.
89-91 single cam engine harness will not work for 92-94 dual cam connectors and ecu are different. Some are same but not all. 95-99 dual cam harness are different from 89-91 single cam harness and 92-94 dual cam harness. There is way's to make it work but I won't get into detail. There are some good threads out there on that subject. then there is the ecu stuff too. I might have some of the years wrong but it is a rough idea from what I have done. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Just trying to pass the little knowledge I have. Good luck on your build! |
