HUB ?s

okk so my friend has has a factory 5 lug conversion for ever now and since it has been installed the car gets crazy death wobble, it never did this when he was 4 lug ive looked over everything and just cant seem to find anything wrong or messed up. so if anybody has had this problem or knows anyone that has had this issue and fixed it i would appericate some help thank.

Make sure the wheel bearings are good by jacking the car up and shaking the wheel. Also, don't forget that S14 and S13 wheel bearings are torqued to different values, so make sure you have the hub nut torqued down to the right spec.

yea ive had the car on stand and shook up and down left and right and the bearing seem to be good. i just dont understand it cause it just happenes randomly happenes while driving it not even consistent somedays it good then orthers its just crazy feels like were going to fly off the road the whole car shakes

and the nut is torqued to the right amount

So you are using the S14 front hubs and thats it? Nothing else from the S14? Like the Spindle and Lower Control Arm?

If you only swapped just the hubs then I would assume there has to be something wrong with a bearing....Is there any other mods that were done at the same time?

Are the wheels you are using stock or aftermarket? How are the wheels centered on the hub? Eccentric ring or jsut using the lugnuts.....

Make sure you have no play in your ball joints...sometimes they seem like they can be fine but when you disconnect them make sure they are not just wiggling around. I found out the hard way on my g35 this past weekend, just because it looks good and doesnt have free play while its attached doesnt mean it wont when you unbolt it.
