KA Nismo mount height + worn mount height
I need to know the height of a Nismo KA24DE motor mount, without studs (mount plate to mount plate). I also need to know the height of some worn KA mounts. I have neither available to me. Solid info only please!
I found a thread from a search, but it only referenced memory, nothing solid... (http://zilvia.net/f/2285910-post6.html) |

Well, if I had some sort of size reference in the pic (i.e. 12oz can soda, 20oz bottle, spray paint can, etc.). lol
Thanks for at least trying to help though! Is that a stock mount or Nismo or what? |

I think it's something like the thickness of two hockey pucks...
I'll have to find one and measure it up. A new stock mount should be about the same height as a nismo mount.

My RB25 sits too high with the ruckus-racing mounts (uses stock KA mounts instread of rubber isolators). I have Nismo mounts with less than 1,000 miles on them. I bought some oem replacement mounts for a volvo, but because of how short they were, the mount bracket from the ruckus-racing rested on top of the mount at an angle. So Im thinking they have to be used with a mount within range of a stock KA mount...hence me needing a worn down KA mount which will be shorter than Nismo/New mount. Then I'll fill it in with urethane or hard silicone/rubber for support.

I'm thinking I need a mount that's about 2.25". I may have to make my own using flexane 94. |
