Nowo car wont start. buzzing sound from under the engine fuse box cover?
yup car wont start. cranked it, tried to turn once, then weird buzzing sounds....from under the fuse box near the passenger wheel there was a buzzing and i could feel it vibrating . I unpluged the connectors on the pos. terminal of the battery to kill the noise.
Baterry is good, just replaced less than a month ago. Last night while drving from vegas to cali, i noticed randomly that my gauges would light up about twice as bright as normal and stay bright, until i run over a lane marker and on the passesnger side something weird is going on in the engine bay on the passenger side of my car. WTF????? please help. I am stranded at work now... |

He's probably right. If not then just get a new starter and all that great stuff.

They do like to be babied. I'd also like to know the verdict when you figure it out, just incase it happens to mine... Thanks

The exact same thing happens to me, if fact it happened last night while I was putting my dash back in after trying to fix my hud. Its weird because the battery won't even be close to dead but the car still won't start. I've noticed that this happens as a result of having the car on and running and then turning it off but not taking the key out or at least turning it to the off position immediately. If I don't go strait to off position or take the key out then dash lights stay on and won't turn off, I guess this drains the battery just enough so that the car won't start but the strang thing is it won't even crank at all... Anyway, I don't know the answer to why this happens but just make sure to take the key out as soon as you turn off the car, if you don't, immediatley turn the car back on and then turn it off and take the key out. Hope this helps...I'll check back to see if anyone else has an answer but I'm sick of looking at wiring diagrams after trying to fix my hud for like 6 hours yesterday and then realizing that the component itself must be the problem... |
