I installed a welded diff in my car and i noticed that everytime i reverse or go fowards and then push the clutch in, I hear a loud clunking noise from the rear end. Can anybody tell me what this might be? Subframe bushings??? It was making no noise before when the open diff was on. Thanks

Subframe bushings or a shitty "locked" diff...

I have a welded with solid subframe bushings. Keep in mind that a welded diff is hard on the rear drivetrain.

Some noise is normal, and you're gonna have to live with it. My car is super noisy and clunks when I turn. Bushings are good and all my suspension bolts were torqued properly, just a price you gotta pay
